ADVENTURES IN RHYTHM

Eesa, born in Jamaica and raised on the drum, Eesa could play with best of the hand drummers by the age of sixteen.  Now he plays free lance with groups & teaches traditional djembe.  His playful and loving style includes everyone in the circle.

Kinyada, Master of the Duns.  Kinyada has been playing duns and djembe for over 15 years and will teach the many parts of the foundation for three sizes of dun and bell.

Alex Wedmedyk Co-creator of Earth Rhythm is well known throughout the Midwest for his facilitation of the EarthDance Ritual, drum circles, rhythm technique and drum building workshops.  Alex has led many on the path of self discovery and personal empowerment.  He is a master craftsman, drummaker,  and drummer.  His tone and spirit are based on the belief in the unity of all things great and small. 

Pat Evans M.S. is a yoga teacher and therapist certified at Kripalu. She is also a Reiki practitioner. She facilitates various workshops on self discovery and helps others to access their peaceful place within and to know the energy of God.

Cindy Hill, B.A. founded Rhythm Culture in 1999 after her training with internationally renowned teacher Arthur Hull. Since then, Cindy has brought drum circle workshops & world music assemblies to many classrooms, churches, & retreats.

Embedded in tranquil and beautiful forest surroundings of the Cuyahoga Valley National Rereational Area, the Lodge offers the opportunity to experience real Ohio country in its natural splendor.  Just walk out through the backyard of this century home and you'll find a pond, fire pit and a national hiking trail. Take a breathe of fresh air and relax!

Directions: Between Cleveland & Akron. Take Rt 8 to Rt 303. Go west through Peninsula. Go north on Riverview,then right on Boston Mills Rd, and left on Stanford Rd.
