We offer a wide selection of sizes
of Hoop drums, also known as Shamanic, Peace, or Native American drums in
several different sizes: 15", 18" and 20". Joy
and Alex have been making hoop drums since 1991. We refuse to sell anything sub-par and
we can guarantee that your drum will be well-constructed and sound
beautiful.
Drums are made from deer, elk, or buffalo skin that is blessed and thanked before
being made into a drum. We take great care to ensure that the skin is of
good quality, and we refuse to
buy from suppliers who sell poor quality skins. No skin is wasted as the
head is tied on with lace made of the outside perimeter of the hide.
Joy Wedmedyk is also gifted at Shamanic painting and often does custom paint jobs on hoop drums. An example of her
