Joy and Alex Wedmedyk have created Earth Rhythm and offer a variety of handcrafted drums, multi-cultural experiential workshops and gatherings designed to allow participants an opportunity to connect with their spirit, and manifest their own vision of life through self-expression. Their path empowers others to awaken the healer within and to carry the message of oneness into their personal life. Through their workshops and teachings they share common truths of all traditions and promote the unity of all things.
Alex believes in the magic
of the sacred dance of the spirit. This dance, this rhythm, is heard
within each heart on the earth. By drumming our voices, dancing our own
spirit, celebrating our lives and creating our visions together, we will
manifest a community capable of leading us back to our spiritual home and
forward to a loving, nurturing and healing environment. Alex created Earth
Rhythm to bring this vision to fruition.
Joy believes in helping people to find and nourish their spiritual selves
and their relationships with their ancestors. Her teachings and lifestyle
are aimed at allowing those she knows to discover the Other World as a way
to find happiness, peace, healing, and unity with all things and with the
self. Joy created Earth Rhythm to bring this vision to fruition.
Together, Alex and Joy have and will continue to work for their vision
through drumming and drum-making, teaching, facilitating events and workshops, and
bringing the serenity they have found to all that they know.
Earth Rhythm has been featured in the Medina County Gazette, Enlightenments, The Plain Dealer, The Akron Beacon Journal, and The Shifting Times as it has traveled across Eastern and Mid-Western United States. The company is currently located in Brunswick, Ohio.
