Our Vision

Joy and Alex have created EARTH RHYTHM and offer a variety of handcrafted drums, multi-cultural experiential workshops and gatherings designed to allow participants an opportunity to connect with their spirit, and manifest their own vision of life through self-expression. Their path empowers others to awaken the healer within and to carry the message of oneness into their personal life. Through their workshops and teachings they share common truths of all traditions and promote the unity of all things.

Joy and Alex believe in the magic of the sacred dance of the spirit. This dance, this rhythm, is heard within each heart on the earth. By drumming our voices, dancing our own spirit, celebrating our lives and creating our visions together, we will manifest a community capable of leading us back to our spiritual home and forward to a loving, nurturing and healing environment.

Joy is an artist and minister in ceremonies of the heart. She has studied shamanism with many indigenous teachers of the Americas and Africa. She is an initiate of the Wolf Clan Teaching Lodge.

Alex has facilitated many drum circles and workshops in the Midwest. He believes that drumming and dance are vehicles that heal and keep people strong. He is a drummaker, jewelry designer, and drummer. He is an initiate of the Wolf Clan Teaching Lodge.
